Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a SAP Finance Manager for our Parsippany, New Jersey location. This position has overall responsibility for SAP Finance and Controlling modules and is accountable for implementing optimal system solutions to meet the dynamic needs of the Finance organization. Additionally, you will provide guidance to Finance organization on SAP roadmaps and creates SAP best practice strategies to align with Finance business objectives; and work directly with Finance stakeholders to review, analyze and prioritize business requirements and provide process, functional and technical subject matter knowledge to the design and integration elements of each enhancement or project.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing high quality solutions based on business requirements with primary focus on Project Systems, Enterprise Consolidations, Business Planning & Consolidations, Controlling & Profitability Analysis, CATS, Asset Management; developing functional and technical specifications; preparing test scripts for positive tests and regression tests based on business owner test scenarios; and production/ cutover planning and turnover. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for SAP Finance needs for Finance Organization to gather, refine and prioritize business requirements; and provide guidance to Finance organization on SAP roadmaps and creates SAP best practice strategies to align with Finance business objectives. Manages, guides, and trains staff to provide the necessary support, skills, and experience for their professional development and advancement.
Education/Experience
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or commensurate experience. A major or concentration in finance or accounting is a huge plus. You must have a minimum of 8 years of Information Systems work experience with a minimum of 7 years experience in implementing and supporting SAP Finance modules. Additionally, you must have a minimum of 2 full cycle SAP implementations; 2 years of production support; 3 years or supervisory experience managing atleast 2 people; and 1 year of experience implementing and supporting Finance modules for BW reporting. You must also have a solid understanding of the integration aspects of various modules of SAP; expertise in designing and implementing reporting solutions for Finance or other modules; and expert knowledge in designing, configuring, testing and deploying SAP Finance solutions. Experience with SAP reporting tools; and hands on experience working in a validated SAP implementation and production support environment with all aspects of a system development life cycle methodology are critical skills in this role.
