Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Manager, Training Development for our Parsippany, New Jersey location. This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of effective continuous learning (including NMM/POA workshops), e-learning, and assessment programs to support and meet departmental and field sales force goals; and taking the lead in train-the-trainer workshops developing and delivering for field managers at National Planning Meeting and National Managers Meetings. You will also serve as the lead point-person with the Brand Teams, coordinating brand training strategies directly with the Brand Managers and pulling though strategies with other Sales training groups.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will develop and maintain sales training tools, POA Workshops, Brand classroom presentations, continuous learning tools; e-learning, assessment programs: responsible for managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of such programs. Additionally, you will participate and advise during Market Research, Ad Boards, Task Force and Marketing Staff meetings to consult on the development of Daiichi Sankyo’s promoted products and to develop appropriate training tools; and develop, facilitate and participate other Training Initiatives.
Education/Experience
Qualified candidates must have a 4 year college degree with a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience; minimum of 2 years pharmaceutical sales experience and a minimum of 1 year of Sales Training experience. Completion of Level 1 Trainers Certification is required; Project Management and Leadership Development is preferred. Outstanding disease state & product knowledge; excellent presentation & facilitation skills; and proficiency in MS Office Suite are required in this role. Must be willing to travel 30% of the time including field contacts, advisory board and task force meetings, National Meetings, POA meetings and additional training initiatives.
